The 15th edition of the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) Turf Cricket League commenced with eleven matches played over the last weekend.

The tournament this year attracted a participation of 28 teams and is set to culminate with the finals scheduled for December 1.

Matches are being hosted at two venues: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitampura.

Here is a recap of the matches that kicked off the league:

1. S&A Law Offices beat Luthra & Luthra by 9 wickets

Atul Dulgaj of S&A was named the Man of the Match, with Umang Sethi of Luthra & Luthra being named the Fighter of the Match.

2. AZB & Partners beat Wadia Ghandy & Co by 45 runs

Mahesh Rohilla of AZB & Partners was named the Man of the Match, with Dharav Shah of Wadia Ghandy & Co being named the Fighter of the Match.

3. Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas beat Jaitley & Bakhshi by 7 wickets

Srijan Shrivastava of Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas was named the Man of the Match, with Daman Popli of Jaitley & Bakhshi being named the Fighter of the Match.

4. Charter Law beat Emerald Law by 8 runs

Akshay Lal of Charter Law was named the Man of the Match, with Shivam Parashar of Emerald Law being named the Fighter of the Match.

5. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas beat Saikrishna Associates by 5 wickets

Amitpal of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was named the Man of the Match, with Sanidhya Maheshwari of Saikrishna Associates being named the Fighter of the Match.

6. King Stubb & Kasiva beat S&R Associates by 28 runs

Harsh Kathuria of King Stubb & Kasiva was named the Man of the Match, with Taranjeet Singh of S&R Associates being named the Fighter of the Match.

7. JSA beat TT&A by 44 runs

Akhil Anand of JSA was named the Man of the Match, with Praveen Kumar Singh of TT&A being named the Fighter of the Match.

8. Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan beat SKV Law by 93 runs

Anurag Kapur of Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan was named the Man of the Match, with Aman Jamwal of SKV Law being named the Fighter of the Match.

9. Anand & Anand beat IndusLaw by 165 runs

Tanuj Kumar of Anand & Anand was named the Man of the Match, with Parag Rai of IndusLaw being named the Fighter of the Match.

10. Kochhar & Co beat Dentons Link Legal by 13 runs

Vishal Singh of Kochhar & Co was named the Man of the Match, with Kartikeya Singh of Dentons Link Legal being named the Fighter of the Match.

11. Phoenix Legal beat Vaish Associates by 6 wickets

Ramit Chowla of Phoenix Legalwas named the Man of the Match, with Samarth Dhumal of Vaish Associates being named the Fighter of the Match.
