15th SILF Turf Cricket League: Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan reach Cup Division Final

Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan beat AZB & Partners by 47 runs in the first semifinal of the Cup Division.

Three more matches were played last week as part of the 15th SILF Turf Cricket League, with Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan (LKS) booking their place in the final of the Cup division.

Lakshman Singh of LKS took the Man of the Match award while Mahesh Rohila of AZB was named the Fighter of the Match.

In the final on December 25, LKS will face either Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas or S&A Law Offices, depending on which of the two emerges victorious in the second semifinal slated to be held on December 23.

Following the conclusion of the league stage, the top two teams from each of the eight pools advanced to the knockout rounds of the Cup Division of the tournament.

Meanwhile, the bottom two teams from each pool earned their place in the knockouts of the Plate Division.

In the Plate Division, Dentons Link Legal and Lall & Sethi beat their respective opponents to earn a place in the final slated for December 16.

In the first semifinal, Dentons Link Legal beat Dua Associates by 109 runs.

Kartikeya Singh of Dentons Link Legal was named the Man of the Match with Narendra Kumar of Dua Associates being named the Fighter of the Match.

In the second semifinal, Lall & Sethi beat King Stubb Kasiva by 35 runs.

Vinay Sharma of Lall & Sethi was named the Man of the Match with Harsh Kumar of King Stubb Kasiva being named the Fighter of the Match.

The tournament is set to culminate with the finals scheduled for December 25.

Matches are being hosted at two venues: Modern School, Barakhamba Road, and the Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitampura.

The tournament has Bar & Bench as its digital media partner, with sponsorship from the Ram Rattan Group and Hamdard Safi.
