The Adhyayan Foundation for Policy and Research (AFPR) is an independent think tank dedicated to producing quality research to help the formulation, assessment, and implementation of public policies. We strive towards bridging the gap in policymaking for the wholesome growth and development of our country. We aim to guide discourse to make better laws and improve governance for the public good. We are committed to producing legal research of the highest standard to inform public debate and contribute to improved governance.

Internship Details

We are calling for Research Internship applications under Dr. Aniruddha Rajput, a distinguished professor and former member of the International Law Commission (2017-2021).

Selected candidates will work as Research Assistants to the members they are engaged with. The work will primarily involve research propositions related to International Law and background research on various topics under consideration. The internship will span one year and will be held remotely starting September 1st.

Who Should Apply

  • Students in their third year or above of a BA LLB (5-year) course.

  • Candidates with a keen interest in International Law and legal research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in research on topics related to International Law.

  • Prepare research reports and propositions.

  • Conduct background research on assigned topics.

  • Contribute to the development of research papers and policy briefs.

Application Procedure

Interested candidates should submit the following documents to admin@afpr.in by August 15, 2024:

  1. A recently updated resume not exceeding 2 pages (titled: Name_CV).

  2. A statement of purpose of not more than 500 words (titled Name_SOP).

  3. A writing sample of not more than 1500 words on the topic "Interaction between treaty and customary law rules" (titled Name_WS).
