Universal Legal acts on Tanas Capital and Investcorp investment in V-Ensure Pharma

The transaction is valued at ₹130 crores (approximately US$17.5 million)

Alternative investment firm, InvestCorp along with Asia-based private investment firm, Tanas Capital invested ₹130 crores (approximately US$17.5 million) in V-Ensure Pharma Technologies acquiring a minority stake in the company.

Universal Legal acted for Tanas Capital Pte Ltd with a team led by Partner Rashi Kapoor Mehta and assisted by Henna Kapadia Poojara (Associate).

This investment will fund V-Ensure’s objective of pursuing growth opportunities across North America, Europe and other global markets for the development and launch of its products.

V-Ensure is a leading developer of specialty pharmaceutical formulations focused on complex generics for regulated markets. The company’s core competence lies in development of complex molecules for regulated markets without infringing on any existing patents
