Landcraft Retail Private Limited, an affiliate of Landcraft Agro LLP, has secured the highly sought after commercial property situated on Bandra Linking Road, Mumbai, owned by the renowned Bollywood actor, Salman Khan, on lease, for the operations of their new Food Square store.

The property was formerly leased by the Future Group for their famous Foodhall store operations.

Triumvir Law advised the Landcraft group in this deal. The Firm’s representation and advisory to Landcraft Group in this lease deal was particularly challenging due to the intricacies associated with Future Group's insolvency and legal disputes. Following the closure of the Foodhall stores due to financial difficulties and their involvement in the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP), the firm advised Landcraft Group in navigating these complexities and successfully securing the premises on lease.

In line with the process above, Triumvir Law, simultaneously, also assisted Landcraft Retail Private Limited in raising funds to the tune of ₹30 Crores (~ $4 million) for the successful opening of the Food Square store.

The transaction team for the transactions consisted of Anubhab Sarkar (Founding Partner), Aakash Parihar (Partner), Gagan Narang (Associate Partner), Ragini Chakraborty (Associate) and Sanyukta Agrawal (Associate).
