Saraf, Link Legal act on Fortis Healthcare acquisition of Medeor Hospital

Fortis Healthcare Limited has signed a definitive agreement with VPN Group to acquire Medeor Hospital in Manesar, Haryana for a consideration of approximately ₹225 crores.

Saraf and Partners acted for Fortis on all aspects of the deal including structuring of the deal, undertaking due diligence, as well as the drafting, negotiation and finalization of the transaction documentation.

Vaibhav Kakkar and Sahil Arora (Partners), led the transaction team. The transaction team also consisted of Debarpan Ghosh (Principal Associate), Aditya Sood and Kabir Walia (Associates).

The transaction team was ably supported by the litigation team led by Sanjeev Kumar Sharma (Partner), and assisted by Sanya Sud (Principal Associate) as well as the real estate team led by Ravi Bishnoi (Partner), and assisted by Vikram Gupta (Principal Associate), Aman Agarwal and Jahnvi Singh Yadav (Associates).
