HarperCollins has concluded a licensing deal with Mebigo Labs Private Limited, which owns the platform, 'Kuku FM' under which Mebigo Labs has been granted the right to create audiobooks for certain licensed titles, which shall be published on the 'Kuku FM' platform in specifically permitted languages.

Obhan & Associates acted as the legal counsel to HarperCollins.

The transaction was led by a team comprising Akanksha Dua (Partner) and Natasha Matange (Associate).

HarperCollins Publishers India Private Limited is part of the global publishing group which has completed more than 30 years in India and 200 years globally. HarperCollins has a robust publishing catalogue, ranging from biographies, children's books to popular fiction.
