Khaitan Legal Associates, Goyel & Goyal act on Fresh Bus Series A fundraise

Fresh Bus has raised $10.5 million from a Series A fundraise from Alteria Capital, Riverwalk Holdings and Maniv Mobility.

Khaitan Legal Associates advised Alteria Capital who invested ₹200 million, on this investment deal.

The transaction team consisted of Varsha Jalan (Partner), Anisa Bawari (Senior Associate) and Weindrila Sen (Associate).

Goyel & Goyal advised Maniv Mobility on their investment in Fresh Bus. The firm also advised Riverwalk Holdings on their re-investment in Fresh Bus.

The transaction team comprised Akshit Goyal (Partner), Shubham S Agrawal (Senior Associate), and Rishi Shah (Associate).

Amar Reiter Jeanne Shochatovitch & Co advised Maniv Mobility on all other aspects of the investment.

FreshBus, which offers ticketing, real-time tracking of buses, loyalty program, among other services, was founded by Sudhakar Reddy Chirra. Fresh Bus will utilize the new funds to add 15 routes and deploy 150 new electric buses, the firm said in a press release. Besides scaling ops, the funds will also be deployed towards raising technological capabilities, and strengthening its team.
