JSA assists in institutional placement of units by National Highways Infra Trust

The institutional placement of units aggregate to ₹61,812.53 million.

National Highways Infra Trust (an InvIT sponsored by NHAI) has made institutional placement of units aggregating to ₹61,812.53 million.

The transaction also included a preferential issuance of units to NHAI. As part of the transaction, National Highways Infra Trust has also acquired the concession rights over certain road assets of aggregate length of 889 kms at an enterprise value of over Rs. 16,000 crores, which is the largest monetization by NHAI and one of the largest transactions in the history of Indian road sector.

JSA advised SBI Capital Markets Limited, ICICI Securities Limited and Axis Capital Limited in relation to the institutional placement.

The transaction team consisted of Arka Mookerjee (Lead Partner), Pracheta Bhattacharya (Partner), Sourav Modi (Senior Associate) and Jeebitesh Bhattacharya (Associate).
