ELP acts on IHCL launching new Taj hotel with luxury residences in Chennai

Leading Hospitality company, The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), has signed agreements with Ampa Group to develop and manage a Taj hotel together with branded luxury residences in Chennai.

Economic Laws Practice acted for IHCL on the deal.

The team comprised Sujjain Talwar (Co-founding Partner), Aakanksha Joshi (Partner), Megha Agarwal (Associate Partner) and Farhan Ali (Associate).

This will be IHCL’s first foray in the branded residences space. This greenfield development once completed will comprise a luxury hotel with 235 keys and 123 Taj branded residences.
