National Judicial Reform Council, WICCI is organizing Webinar on the topic "Reading the EWS Judgement: Constitution as a sword or a shield" to be held on November 26, 2022.

About The Event

It will be held on National Law Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, which is celebrated in India on November 26 every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.

Recently, In a 3-2 majority, the Supreme Court upheld the 103rd Constitutional Amendment providing EWS reservation. On this occasion of Law day, NJRC WICCI will conduct the webinar regarding this judgment.

About The Speaker

Dr Avnish Bhatt is an illustrious academician in Law with experience in teaching various legal subjects. He has done commendable research in the areas of Constitutional Law, Prisoners’ related laws, Sports law, etc. He is presently associated with Xavier Law School, as an Assistant professor. He was an ardent mooter and has also been invited as a judge in many National and International Moot Court Competitions, including the Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition.
