Shiv Nadar School of Law, Chennai inaugurated by Justice MM Sundresh

Shiv Nadar School of Law, Chennai was inaugurated by Supreme Court judge, Justice MM Sundresh on Monday.

In his address at the inauguration ceremony, Justice Sundresh highlighted the need for quality legal education that could equip lawyers to contribute positively to society. Urging law students to never forget that they exist to serve society and the litigants, Justice Sundresh closed his speech by saying,

"Stay hungry and stay focused. The future is yours."

Dean of the Shiv Nadar School of Law, Prof Shiv Swaminathan remarked,

"At a time when India needs skilled legal professionals with strong ethics, this school stands out, backed by the Foundation's 20-year legacy of empowering communities through education."

The law school has faculty who are alumni of Oxford, Harvard, Yale and Princeton and a curriculum inspired by global best practices.

It offers a five-year B.A LL.B program. Full-tuition waivers are included in the scholarship scheme offered to students. The campus is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure including seminar halls, auditoria, libraries, gymnasium, sports complex and hostels for men and women.
