RMLNLU Bags Best Memorial, Adjudged Quarter Finalist at 6th MKES National Moot Court Competition

A team comprising of Ms. Arushi, Mr. Mehul Raj and Mr. Arnav Mathur (Class of 2025) represented the University at the moot court competition.

Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University, Lucknow has bagged the Best Memorial citation at the 6th MKES National Moot Court Competition “Vidhigyaan” organized by MKES College of Law, Mumbai.

The team comprising of Ms. Arushi, Mr. Mehul Raj and Mr. Arnav Mathur (Class of 2025) represented the University at the moot court competition. The team broke into Quarters as one of the top 3 in oral rounds.

Teams from across the country participated in the competition which consisted of one Preliminary Round, followed by Quarter Finals, Semi Finals & the Finals over the course of 2 days.

The subject-matter of the Moot was based on the Information Technology Act, 2000 along with related provisions of the Indian Penal Code. The constitutionality of the new Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules 2021 was also one of the moot question.

The judges in rounds were judges from the Bombay-Pune circuit, practicing advocates and firm associates.
