RGNUL wins the 8th National Moot Court Competition held by Law College Dehradun

Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala won the 8th National Moot Court competition organized by Law College Dehradun

The winning team from RGNUL comprised of Nandini Sharma, Ruby Agrawal & Ishmeet Siwach.

The team from Symbiosis Law School, Pune comprising of Laadli Singhania, Nupur Konde & Yash Kothari were the runners-up. They also won the Best Memorial award.

The other awards included -

Best Researcher: Kriti Kumari, Central University of South Bihar

Best Oralist (Male): Parth, University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University

Best Oralist (Female): Laadli Singhania from Symbiosis Law School, Pune

The incumbent Attorney General for India R Venkataramani was a part of the inaugural ceremony of the competition.

The final rounds were adjudicated by a constitutional bench constituting Justice Rajesh Tandon, former Judge, The High Court of Uttarakhand at Nainital, Vibha Dutta Makhija, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Jitendra Mohan Sharma, Senior Advocate, Supreme Court of India, Abhishek Anand, Co-Founder, Sarvada Legal, and Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and Dean, Law College Dehradun.
