The NSS Unit of NLU ASSAM, is celebrating the 73rd Republic Day. The unit seeks to remember the sacrifice of our founding fathers in penning down the Constitution of India and hence, are conducting a "Poetry Writing Competition". In spirit of brotherhood and unity, the theme of the competition is "INDIA@75" to commemorate 75 years of India's independence. Poems with a patriotic tone are encouraged.
About National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam
The National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA) has been established by the Government of Assam by way of enactment of the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam Act, 2009. The word 'School' was replaced by the word 'University' by amending the National Law School and Judicial Academy, Assam (Amendment) Act, 2011. The Hon'ble Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court is the Chancellor of the University.
NLUJAA promotes and makes available modern legal education and research facilities to students and scholars drawn from across the country, including the North East, coming from different socio-economic, ethnic, religious and cultural backgrounds.

Hindi/English or any other language mentioned in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
Participation Certificate will be provided to all the participants.
The top 3 best entries will be awarded with the Certificate of Merit.

Submissions open till 12 AM, 26th January, 2022.
The submissions should be of original works and no plagiarism will be entertained/considered.
If any issue arises out of plagiarism then the participant concerned shall be personally liable for the same.
Anyone found infringing on others copyright would be disqualified from the competition.
