NLU Odisha semi-finalists at Jessups World Rounds 2021

The team made it to the top 4 out of the 574 teams participating in the World Rounds

The National Law University, Odisha team, comprising Arkaneil Bhaumik, Shivalika Rudrabatla, Sri Aditya Kumar and Udipto Kaushik Sarmah have been adjudged as the Semi-finalists of the 2021 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition.

The team made it to the top 4 out of the 574 teams participating in the World Rounds, making it to be the best performance of NLUO at this moot, so far.

Moreover, the team was felicitated with the Hardy C. Dillard Award and was also adjudged as the 8th Best Respondent & the 9th Best Applicant team in the World Rounds. Also, Mr. Arkaneil Bhaumik bagged 48th rank out of the top 100 individual oralists in the preliminary rounds category.

Apart from NLUO, the National University of Singapore, the University of Sydney and the University of San Carlos also made it to the Semi- Finals. The University of Sydney was declared as the winner of the 2021 Rounds.
