Jaipur National University, at its Seedling School of Law and Governance, Rajasthan is organszing the Ninth Professor VS Mani Memorial International Law Moot Court Competition 2023.

About the Moot Court Competition

Jaipur National University, founded on 22 October 2007, is a private institution situated in the Jaipur district of Rajasthan, India.

The moot court aims toward giving openness to the Students pursuing Law at different Institutions around the globe to the ambiance of International Law and to honing their advocacy skills.

Qualification

The competition is open to on a students enrolled as full time learners in Undergraduate Law Program (3 Year/ 5 Year) or its comparable led by any perceived establishment/school/college of any country.

More than one team shall not be allowed from a single Institution to participate and compete.

A cap of fifty teams is saved for the competition , and the teams shall be chosen by the first come first serve basis.

Each team shall include at least two participants and a limit of three participants. In a team containing two participants , both the participants shall be assigned as speakers. In a team containing three participants, the third individual from the team shall be assigned as Researcher.

Any extra member or team mentor of any team shall not officially be perceived and won't be qualified for a testament from the college.

Awards and Accolades

  • The Winning Team shall be awarded with Trophy and a monetary reward of ₹27000.

  • The Runner Up Team shall be awarded with Trophy and a monetary reward of ₹18000.

  • The Best written submission/Memorial shall be awarded with Plaque and a monetary reward of ₹6000.

  • The Best Speaker/Advocate shall be awarded with Plaque and a monetary reward of ₹5000.

  • The Best Researcher shall be awarded with Plaque and a monetary reward of ₹4000.

Registration Procedure

Each competing team shall finalize the registration within stipulated time. The registration is a two-step process comprising of filling up of the registration form and payment of the registration fee as provided in Rule 7.

Enrolment shall be open till January 31, 2023 (11.59 P. M. IST). The registration form is available underneath.

The Teams are expected to send a bona fide letter appropriate authority of their College or University alongside the duly filled registration form.

Fee Details

The fee for registration is ₹4,000 Indian teams. All other Teams shall pay US $ 100 or its equivalent excluding service charge (if any) in Euros as registration fee.

Payment of Registration fee

Indian Teams shall make payment by Online Payment/Demand Draft. The procedure for similar has been provided in the Annexure to the Competition Rules.

Payment by all other teams must be made by Online Payment/Bank Transfer. The procedure for the same has been provided in the registration form.

All the formalities concerning the registration process should be completed by January 31, 2023. The decision of the Director shall be final in this regard.
