National Law School of India University signs MoU with Sydney Law School

This academic partnership aims to strengthen the relationship between the universities through academic staff visits and student mobility programs.

Vice Chancellor of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Dr. Sudhir Krishnaswamy and Dean and Head of Sydney Law School, Professor Simon Bronitt have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to strengthen relationships and create pathways for collaboration between two law schools.

According to a press release, the partnership will be mutually beneficial and shall range from academic staff visits between law schools for the purposes of teaching, training and research collaboration, to student mobility programs as well as other joint activities.

On this collaboration, Prof. Bronitt shared his excitement by saying,

“The University of Sydney Law School is delighted and honoured to announce its new partnership with the National Law School of India University, Bangalore; the MOU signed by our VC Professor Mark Scott coincides with his visit next week to India, accompanying our Federal Minister for Education, to discuss and forge closer ties with Indian research and educational institutions”.
