DM Harish School of Law, HSNC University, Mumbai is organising a session on “Introduction to Law” by Justice GS Patel, Former Judge, Bombay High Court, as part of its Master Lecture Series on Saturday, 13th July 2024, 11:00 AM onwards at the Hiro Sitaldas Punwani Convocation Hall, Ground Floor, HSNC University, Mumbai, Worli Campus.

The lecture is open for all students, law professionals, legal researchers and potential law aspirants. Touted to be an interactive session with Justice GS Patel, who has considerable experience in the field, the session aims to introduce aspirants and students of law and those having a keen interest in the field to develop an understanding of the basics of law. About Justice GS Patel: Born in Mumbai on 26th April 1962,  Justice GS Patel is a graduate of St. Xavier's College and Government Law College. He started practice in 1987 in Mumbai, working on commercial, corporate and civil litigations and also appearing in a large number of environmental public interest litigations including those relating to the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, protection of mangroves, town and country planning issues, Melghat National Park, the Mill Lands, protection of open spaces, etc. Justice Patel was known for his unique, scholarly, eminently readable style of writing judgements, his sense of equity, wit, candour, humour and his ability to complete justice for the less fortunate.
