The team representing Law Centre II comprised of Prarthna Nanda and Prashant Mishra.

Prarthna Nanda was also awarded the Best Speaker.

The final round of the competition was judged by Shwetha Bidhuri, Head (South Asia), Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Praveen Nagar, Partner, PS Legal and Dharmender Verma, Partner, Maheshwari and Co.

Speaking to the Campus Ambassador Raunaq Bali, a team member shared what the moot proposition was about:

It was a moot problem based on the premise of The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The issues made out in the problem were on the arbitrability of rental disputes, power of an arbitrator to determine jurisdiction while the arbitrators have been appointed and arbitration has commenced, it also raised a point of contention regarding the power of courts as opposed to that of arbitral tribunals to determine jurisdiction in cases where arbitral agreement exists."

This note was shared by Campus Ambassador Raunaq Bali.
