Jindal Global Law Review gets indexed on SCOPUS

This makes the Jindal Global Law Review India's only law school law journal to be indexed on the database, Jindal's Press Release informs.

Bar & Bench

SCOPUS, Elsevier's globally recognised citation and abstract database, has indexed Jindal Global Law School's Law Journal, the Jindal Global Law Review.

OP Jindal Global Law University has announced the milestone in a Press Release, which reads:

"JGLR has the unique honour and distinction of being the first law journal run by a Law School in India to get indexed in SCOPUS, becoming the trailblazer for over 1650 law schools and over 200 law journals in the country."

The University's Flagship Review is a faculty-edited publication, with each volume devoted to a specific area of both historical and contemporary significance to law.

The conceptualisation and release of the Journal preceded the establishment of the Jindal Global Law School, the Press Release narrates.

On the Law Review's accomplishment, Professor (Dr) C Raj Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, JGU & Dean, JGLS says:

“This an incredible recognition for India and indeed for Jindal Global Law School. The flagship journal of JGLS, Jindal Global Law Review being included in the coveted and among a relatively small group of reputed international journals as a SCOPUS-Indexed journal is a testimonial to the extraordinary journey that the Law School and the Law Review has travelled in the last decade."
