Cyber Blog India invites applications for Summer Internship Programme 2023

The blog is primarily looking for individuals interested in legal research and would like to explore grey areas and new possibilities in the technology law domain.

The Cyber Blog India team started off as a blog in 2014, which is now operational as a full-fledged boutique consulting practice.

With the mission to create a safe cyberspace in India and a population of cyber-aware netizens, the blog have invested in multiple ways and are constantly engaged in multifarious activities.

To date, the Cyber Blog has have offered assistance in over 14,200 cybercrime cases. It has been successful in getting non-consensual photos and videos removed from 45000+ URLs.

The work has been recognised across the globe, which has fetched us several national and international awards and accolades. The blog is , in particular, proud of the fact that they have been able to reach lakhs of individuals across different age groups through our 490+ workshops and webinars. Apart from this, their corporate advisory engagements are focused on e-commerce, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and online gaming.

NATURE OF INTERNSHIP

The blog is primarily looking for individuals interested in legal research and would like to explore grey areas and new possibilities in the technology law domain. They are also open to suggestions regarding how candidates can contribute to the team.

Working days: Monday to Friday
Workload: 30-35 hours per week

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Currently pursuing or previously pursued a law degree

  2. Interest in legal research and technology/cyber law

NUMBER OF INTERNS REQUIRED: four

LOCATION: Remote

STIPEND: Performance-based

DURATION OF INTERNSHIP: 6 weeks (May 15, 2023 – June 25, 2023)

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

  1. Write a cover letter (around 400 words) detailing interest in technology law/cyber law.

  2. Fill out this Google Form.

This form will stop accepting responses after 10 pm on April 25, 2023.

If candidates submit this application well before the deadline, the blog may provide feedback on the cover letter and how it can be improved before consider it for shortlisting.

The blog will organise a Q&A session to answer applicants' queries regarding the internship.

This session is scheduled for 2 pm on April 17, 2023.
