The Centre for Public Law

The Centre for Public Law (CPL) was established in 2009 under the able guidance of Dr. Sanjay Jain, Associate Professor at the College. CPL focuses on research in Constitutional Law and its interface with other laws and discussions on policy and developments in Indian Constitutional Law and Jurisprudence.

The ILS Law College

ILS Law College, or in its full name Indian Law Society's Law College, is a government law school in Pune, India. It was established in 1924 and offers courses that include three-year and five-year degrees. ILS is located on Law College Road, Pune. The college was aided by The Ford Foundation.

The Centre for Public Law at ILS Law College is organising a "Three-day Article Writing Workshop" from 27th to 29th January 2021 from 05:00 PM to 06:30 PM (Online Mode).

The main objectives of the workshop are

1. To encourage students to convert short articles into a research paper,

2. To develop skills of citing scholarship and

3. To generate interest in research in legal writing.

About the speaker

Mr. Sidharth Chauhan is a dynamic young scholar and very popular amongst his students at NALSAR.

He specializes in Public Law and takes very keen interest in interacting with youngsters. Recently he had conducted a workshop on similar lines with the students of NALSAR. Having seen the quality of the workshop, we decided to invite him to guide our students.

Registration Fee

Rs. 100/- plus GST @18% for ILS students

Rs. 300/- plus GST @18% for Non-ILS students/Professionals.
