On September 28, 2020, the fifth convocation at the Galgotias University was grandly organized online.

Galgotias University decided that we cannot do a convocation ceremony like the previous 4 convocation ceremonies to help the spread of COVID-19 and support social distancing.

When the Galgotias University made the difficult decision, the administration at GU began to explore alternative means to celebrate the Class of 2020. Although we cannot meet in person at this time, we have come up with one small way to celebrate this important milestone: Virtual Online convocation, 2020.

In addition to the 5th Convocation ceremony for graduates, a celebratory video has been launched during the 2020 Convocation. A public watch page is available on Youtube and, all graduating students were encouraged to share the watch page link with their families and friends.

Convocation is one of our favourite parts of the year, as it is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our graduates’ achievements. In light of the current situation, however, it is not possible or responsible to hold our traditional convocation ceremony.

Our virtual celebration took place on September 28, 2020.
