The Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow is organising the 4th edition of the Dr. R.U. Singh Memorial National Level Literary Events. The events include an article writing competition, debates, legal quizzes and more. Participation is open to university students studying in any stream in India.

About the Institute

Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow has been pioneer legal institution of India. It was established in 1921 with three teachers. Mr. Jag Mohan Nath Chak was its first Dean. The real architect was Prof. R.U. Singh who with great zeal and enthusiasm organized teaching and research in the faculty in a systematic way. He held the office of Dean, Faculty of Law till 1956.

Types of Events & Registration Charges

  • Article Writing Competition: Single author: Rs.50, Co-author: Rs. 100

  • Debate (Hindi): Each Team: Rs. 100

  • Legal Quiz (Hindi): Each Team: Rs. 100

  • Poster Making: Each Student: Rs. 50

  • Bill Drafting: Single author: Rs. 50, Co-author: Rs. 100

  • Socio-Legal Film Making: Each Team: Rs. 500

PRIZES

1. Each participant shall get a participation certificate.
