The company is also in the process of appointing a lawyer qualified to advise on English laws..In Singapore, SNG has expanded its team and hired Kshitij Dua as an Associate Partner. He will be working along with Rahul Sud, who moved to Singapore last year to head operations at Singapore office..Amit Aggarwal, Head of Corporate Practice will divide his time between Delhi, Singapore and Doha and will be focusing on these new jurisdictions..Speaking to Bar & Bench, Amit said, “In last one year there was a learning curve, which we crossed. As part of our strategy for Singapore, we are expanding and hired another lawyer, Kshitij Dua”..Prior to joining SNG, Kshitij was working with Straits Law. A graduate of National Law Institute University, Bhopal, Kshitij started his career with ICICI Bank in 2006. In 2009, he moved to ICICI Bank, Singapore as the SEA legal head in 2009. He left ICICI Bank in 2012 to pursue his masters at Northwestern University School of Law, Chicago..After graduating from Northwestern, Kshitij worked at Opportunity International, a global microfinance organisation in Chicago till 2014 after which he moved back to Singapore to join Straits Law Practice, Singapore as a Foreign Legal Counsel..Kshitij focuses on banking and finance, microfinance, corporate social responsibility and trusts, M&A, and general corporate advisory and regulatory compliance.
