NLIU Bhopal’s 2017 batch has placed 25 students on its recently conducted Day Zero.
Out of 89 students in the batch, 49 students opted to sit for recruitments. A total of 28 offers were made from various law firms and in-house teams, out of which 25 were accepted.
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was the biggest hirer, picking up 8 students. The other law firms were Khaitan & Co. and Trilegal with 5 hires each, and Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, with 1 hire, through a PPO.
6 students accepted offers from the in-house teams of ICICI and WIPRO (2 and 4 respectively).

The NLIU Placement Coordination Committee said in a press release,
“With more than 50% of the placement registered candidates placed on Day Zero itself, the PCC is confident of maintaining the 100% placement record, achieved with the 2015 batch, for the current batch as well.The Placement Coordination Committee of the committee said in a press release,
The Recruiter feedback we received after the day zero regarding the student quality has been very positive. Moreover with significant changes in the University’s Academic Curriculum to be implemented from the next academic session, we hope it would further facilitate the recruitment process of the university.”
