Senior Advocate and former Law Minister, Ram Jethmalani has reportedly filed a defamation suit against members of the BJP Parliamentary Board with respect to the Board’s decision to expel him from the party..The senior counsel has sought compensation of Rs. 50 lakh from each member of the Board, barring ex-PM AB Vajpayee and Narendra Modi who have not been arrayed as Respondents..In May this year, the Board passed a resolution removing Jethmalani from the party for a period of six years.
