A review petition has been filed today against the majority judgment of the Supreme Court scrapping the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). The petition has been filed by an NGO, Sankalp. In the petition, it has been contended that the Supreme Court in the impugned judgment failed to consider the law laid down by the larger benches in P.A. Inamdar v. State of Maharashtra, [(2005) 6 SCC 537] and Preeti Srivastava (Dr.) v. State of M.P., [(1999) 7 SCC 120].
