Lawyers across India abstain from work following murder of Allahabad lawyer

A day after the Ides of March, most lawyers around the country have abstained from court work in a show of protest against last week’s killing of an Allahabad lawyer. A few days ago, the Bar Council of India, in consultation with the State Bar Councils, had taken a decision to appeal to lawyers to abstain from work today.
