Justice Mukul Mudgal has donated his DDCA earnings to the Delhi Police Martyrs’ Fund

Days after the Delhi High Court appointed Justice Vikramajit Sen as the new administrator for the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), Justice Mukul Mudgal has announced that all of his consultation fees will be donated to the Delhi Police Martyrs’ Fund..Justice Mudgal was appointed by the Delhi High Court earlier last year to oversee the functioning of the DDCA and the cricket matches organised by it, especially the matches of the Indian Premier League 2016..Speaking to Bar & Bench, Justice Mudgal said,.“I don’t know what the sum is. Whatever the final amount is decided by the Court, I would like to donate all of it to the Delhi Police Martyrs’ Fund. Delhi Police works extremely hard to do what they do. Especially under the circumstances and the pressure they have to work in. There is a lot of pressure from the VIPs on these police officials.”.Praising the efforts put in by the Delhi Police officials, Justice Mudgal said,.“They are the unsung force of this city. They worked extremely hard during the matches that I attended to ensure the security at the stadium. I think for all this hard work, they need to be rewarded and appreciated. That is what I’m trying to do.”.Well-known for his philanthropic acts, the former Chief Justice of the Punjab & Haryana High Court was unaware of how much he was actually donating.
