In the original allocation dated August 27, 2012, the Division Bench of JJ Bhakthavatsala and BS Indrakala were assigned matters relating to family disputes..Subsequently, on September 7, 2012 a new roster list was declared effective from September 7, 2012. The assigned matters did not include appeals from the Family Court (FC) but did have appeals arising from disputes under the Special Marriage Act (SMA), the Indian Divorce Act (IDA), Guardian and Wards Act (GW) etc..Following this another “modified” roster list (available below) was declared effective from September 10, 2012. The second page of the “modified” list dated September 7, 2012 now clearly shows that all matters relating to matrimonial disputes will no longer be heard by the Division Bench of JJ Bhakthavatsala and Indrakala..As reported by Bar & Bench, J.
