Judiciary v. Executive: Collegium stands firm, continues to support 43 names returned by Centre

The stand-off between the Judiciary and Executive is unlikely to end anytime soon. The Supreme Court today told the Central government that the Collegium has decided to stand by its recommendation of forty-three names which the Central government had returned to the Collegium.
