Interesting to see how one can be active in the Indian market without setting up an office in Singapore or Hong Kong. I think Pepper has a good strategy for this market- it is too costly to maintain an outpost just to pitch for deals. Same reason why Cravath shut down its Sing/Hong Kong office back in '03 or '04.

She is a very good lawyer. I have dealt with her on a couple of transactions. From my dealings with them I can say that Pepper has a very sound and focused India approach compared to other US law firms.
