The analysis of the issues is loadable. The main issue is that how a women will prove the charges. Sexual harassement normally happens in privacy. During the enquiry the men colleagues normally gang up against the complainant and the potential women witnesses either do not want to invite the wrath of male seniors for protecting their jobs or will seek permission of the males of their family which oftenly is denied. So finally complainant has to suffer socially, mentally ad even financially.

Naina, I have always admired your work. Your guidelines in Vishaka have helped scores of women, however, I have seen a misuse of the law as well. While the Bill doesn't have all the answers, I wish it had more of your inputs!Warm regards,Sonal

It’s an assumption and a provision which have no legal justification"Misuse of 498A, DV Act is known to world and yet the lady says Women cannot be a potential lier the section is only for those particular section women who are filing false complaint and not everybody else and why does a person go unscathed for filing such grave charges against somebody just because she's a woman
