Dr. Chandra Krishnamurthy, former Vice-Chancellor of NLU Odisha has been accused of plagiarising 5 out of 8 chapters of a book mentioned in her CV..Krishnamurthy, currently the VC of Pondicherry University, published the book titled ‘Legal Education in India’ in 2009 and 2011. The book was found to have copied verbatim papers written by eminent scholars including N R Madhava Menon. Moreover, two other books mentioned in her CV may have never been published at all..The teachers’ association of Pondicherry University, (PUTA) has written a letter to the HRD Ministry calling for Krishnamurthy’s immediate removal.
