Parking in Supreme Court: ITPO consents to give parking space for 300 vehicles, no parking on Bhagwan Das road

Significant changes have been brought about with regard to parking of vehicles outside the Supreme Court. This is pursuant to a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) before a Bench headed by Justice Gopala Gowda in which the Court has issued a slew of directions. The PIL was filed by NGO Indian Council of Legal Aid & Advice in 2000 concerning parking problems. The Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) had impleaded itself in the case.
