This article was written about a couple of months ago; the Civil Nuclear Suppliers Liability Bill was not enacted. I must commend the way the Parliament (i.e. Legislature) ensured that the pro-suppliers stand recommended by the Government of India (i.e. Executive) was rejected and the Act is now protective of Indian interests.
