foreign law firm should be allowed, why BCI denying them, why BCI not looking that lots of young lawyers did not get any money in initial stage of practice and our honrable senor did not pay to juniors......... our honrabl senor and BCI do not want competition with foreign law firm.........

Indian law firms can happily set up in London or New York to advise on Indian law (and many have). Quite why the reverse cannot happen is a mystery (or is it?). If the foreign lawyers can advise on foreign law and stay for temporary period, why can’t they set up a permanent presence? Absolutely.

bar & bench, if u have the guts do a survey amongst young lawyers and law students. u will see that everyone supports liberalisation. we are also a part of the legal fraternity, why is BCI ignoring us? down with BCI!
