Indian law firms can happily set up in London or New York to advise on Indian law (and many have). Quite why the reverse cannot happen is a mystery (or is it?). If the foreign lawyers can advise on foreign law and stay for temporary period, why canâ€™t they set up a permanent presence? Absolutely.

bar & bench, if u have the guts do a survey amongst young lawyers and law students. u will see that everyone supports liberalisation. we are also a part of the legal fraternity, why is BCI ignoring us? down with BCI!
