@All: People, why can't we refrain from personal comments here? Irrespective of what Kunal's or Saurav's positions are, they are fully entitled to speak their mind. If you have a problem with that, then challenge their stance with logic. You can also vent your valid grievance against one or more coaching centres if you have reason to criticize their approach. However, making derogatory personal comments serves no purpose whatsoever in a discussion!
@Anon : Did you appear for CLAT 2011? And if you did, and still appeared for CLAT 2012, one of the reasons for the same is evident. Logical analysis is something alien to you. Why ? Inability to identify the context of the article. If you have any pet peeves or a valid complaint, you know which of the channels to you- do make use of them, instead of shooting off your mouth in a mindless manner.It might be a bit difficult for someone like you to understand at one go, but I shall still give it a shot. There is a marked difference between a person stating he is a mentor (trainer) and one proclaiming that he/she is an expert. Suggest you get hold of a copy of Wren and Martin (that is considered the best source for beginners), and read up on Nouns, Adjectives, and Verbs.
I wish I was a "CLAT Guru" - I don't teach CLAT Aspirants anymore and more importantly I have never claimed to be a Guru (for CLAT or anything else). In case I have taught you or someone you know and ever hinted or insinuated to that effect, then please accept my apologies.Anyways, the bigger question still looms large, and hope gets addressed - that's the only reason I am participating in this discussion.
@Kunal: Whether you are with LST or Rainmaker, you are just another CLAT Mentor like all other self proclaimed "CLAT Gurus".
Disclosure: I am no longer connected to LST in any manner. I don't want to point out issues with delivery or content for specific test prep organisations or any CLAT mentors, in particular. - The idea of the article was simply to raise a flag on the prevalent approach in general, and how it needs correction.
