If the Finance minister's honest intention is to ensure that tax avoidance arrangements are brought into ambit of taxation & thereby augment revenues. he should also have shown the earnest in the matter of brininging back to the country blacke money which has been stahsed away by own men in tax havens. why did he not deal with black money with iron hands and introduce firm & stringent measures in the area of black money When it comes to black money there is not a sinlge firm measure, the message is cLEAR - HE CANNOT STEAL FROM HIS OWN HOUSE, HE CAN ONLY FROM OTHERS.

In order to be investor friendly, a country need not be liberal on tax evasion. FIIs seek certainty and clarity on law and better regulation with faster implementation, and not how the govt. is facilitating them not to pay any tax.
