In an exclusive, Bar & Bench has received information that fourteen lawyers from Economic Laws Practice (ELP) including Partners Tarun Gulati and Sanjay Notani have resigned from the firm to join PDS Legal..Equity Partner, Tarun Gulati, who is heading the Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice at the Delhi office will be leaving along with ten other lawyers including Kishore Kunal, Rony John, Shruti Sabharwal, Neil Hildreth, Shashi Mathews, Pratibha Sridhar, Shankey Agarwal, Sparsh Bhargava, Rohan Batra and Abeer Kumar, according to confirmed sources..Sanjay Notani is based in ELP’s Mumbai office and is part of the International Trade & WTO team. Two other lawyers are moving out with Sanjay, however, their names could not be confirmed while going to press..PDS Legal, headed by Prakash Shah is a Mumbai based tax litigation law firm. It is understood that Tarun will be setting up the Delhi practice and Sanjay will be joining the Mumbai office..ELP Managing Partner Rohan Shah in an email response said, “For the last few years we have seen very strong growth in our litigation practice on an all India basis.
