Chief Justice HL Dattu today recused from hearing Shamnad Basheer’s petition seeking a permanent body for conducting the Common Law Admission Test..When the matter was taken up as item 65 today, Justice Dattu said that it is appropriate that the matter be heard by some other Bench since he is the Chancellor of National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
