The constituent firms of Singh & Singh Lall & Sethi, a merger that lasted a little less than two years, have decided to part ways. Linklaters has announced twenty eight partner promotions worldwide, including that of Managing Associate Kanyaka Ramamurthi in the firm’s London office, reports The Lawyer. Kanyaka’s promotion to partnership is one of eight at Linklaters’ London office. Mumbai-based generic drugmaker Cipla Ltd has hired AS Kumar, former executive at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories as its global general counsel. The post of global general counsel had been lying vacant since Murali Neelkantan’s departure in 2015, reports VCCircle. Kumar has over three decades of legal experience.
