Yale Law School is proposing to launch a program where the students can check out a certified therapy dog named “Monty” (pictured). The program will start on March 28, 2011 for 3 days. The aim of the program is to help law students de-stress..The law librarian has sent a memo to students informing them that Monty is available for loan at the library. The students can check out Monty for a 30 minute session. The school has set up a non public designated area for students to hang out with Monty to avoid any dog related concerns..The hope is that having a therapy dog available will be a positive addition to the services already available to students at the number one ranked law school..Here is the link to the New York Times article.
