KS Partners advises SBI to finance Jindal Steel Plant and Plate Mill

KS Partners advised the lender, State Bank of India (SBI) for the term loan funding of Jindal Steel and Power in connection with the implementation of a 1.6 MTPA steel plant and 1.5 MTPA plate mill in Angul District of Odisha. 

The total project cost is Rs. 4,923 crores. The original exposure of SBI was Rs. 1000 crore which, pursuant to a series of enhancements/take-out financings, now stands at Rs. 1450 crore.
