After NHPC and Adani Power, Indiabulls Power Limited is out with an IPO. Amarchand Mangaldas' Mumbai office is advising on the Rs. 1,760 crore ($ 380 Million) IPO. Singapore based CC Asia Limited is advising the lead managers in the deal. Amarchand had also advised NHPC on its IPO.
The Lakshmi Mittal invested company had filed their draft prospectus before the SEBI earlier this year in July. The Indiabulls issue is also offering a green shoe option, which if exercised in full, will constitute almost 20 percent of the post issue fully paid up capital.
The company proposes to utilize a part of the proceeds by investing in a 1,320 megawatt thermal power plant in Amravati and a 1,335 megawatt thermal plant at Nashik.
