AMSS advise TV18's rights issue

The Network 18-owned TV18, originally promoted by Raghav Bahl and Sanjay Ray Choudhuri, is raising capital by offering a rights issue. The company is one of India's leading media conglomerates, with interests in television, print, internet and filmed entertainment among other businesses.
TV18 intends to raise about Rs. 505 crores ($100 million) with this issue. The issue is due to open on September 29 and close on October 13. The Delhi offices of Amarchand Mangaldas, are advising the issue.
