The Supreme Court has appointed two Additional Registrars for advocates seeking relief in urgent matters either on court holidays or after court hours. Additional Registrar Jagdish Chander and Vinod Kumar have been appointed to screen through the papers and seek directions from either the Chief Justice of India or other Judges of the Supreme Court and thereafter inform the advocates about such directions.
From the circular, it is unclear whether the advocates will be allowed to present their case before the Judges. A copy of the circular is available here.
