Vijay Goel wins Asian Leadership in Europe Award

Vijay Goel, Partner at Singhania & Co's London offices, was honoured at the Asian Leadership Awards in London yesterday. Goel received the 'Asian Leadership in Europe' Award for his "significant role in promoting Indo-European business relations". Goel was also recently the recipient of the National Law Day awards hosted by the Indian Council of Jurists.

Goel, who has been with Singhania & Co for over ten years, is a special advisor to the Commonwealth Business Council. He is the founder of the Indo-European Business Forum, and the General Secretary of UK Chapter of the International Council of Jurists. His contribution to Indo-UK business relations has been long recognized. In 2006, he won a 'Glory of India' award for his work in promoting investment between India and the UK.

Other awardees at the Asian Leadership awards yesterday included entrepreneurs Maneck Dalal and Surinder Mongia, chartered accountant and E&Y tax partner Nina Amin, pharmaceutical CEO Ravi Gidar, financial commentator and author, Alpesh B Patel and philanthropist Indy Aujla.
